The Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga is considered to be the worlds largest freshwater aquarium. Visit the new saltwater addition and view the new "Penguins Rock" exhibit. View river otters, alligators, giant snapping turtles in the freshwater and then see reef fish, seahorses, sharks and so much more. Touch a shark or sting ray. Visit the butterflies and birds in the tropical garden. Discover a secret reef with huge sharks and colorful fish, stroll through a butterfly garden, get hands-on with stingrays and bamboo sharks and explore and undersea cavern. The Aquariums newest gallery features seahorses from all over the world from the large lined seahorses to tiny dwarf seahorses.
Tennessee Aquarium IMAX next to the Tennessee Aquarium is now featuring 2 experiences: 3D Dinosaurs and 3D Deep Sea.

Chattanooga Ducks
See Chattanooga by land and water. Not just a tour, its a 60-minute adventure. You will board an authentic renovated World War II Amphibious Landing Vehicle for a narrated tour of downtown Chattanooga. Just when you think youve seen it all, you will splash into the Tennessee River at Historic Rosss Landing for an unforgettable trip around Maclellan Island, A Chattanooga Wildlife Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Ducks are located at the corner of Broad Street and 5th.
Tours are from 10:00 AM till dusk. Tours are approximately 1 hour long.

The worlds longest pedestrian bridge takes you across the Tennessee River from the Tennessee Riverpark to Coolidge Park. The Walnut Street Bridge is a perfect spot to view Chattanooga's spectacular scenic beauty. Visitors can gaze at the swirling depths of the Tennessee River or look at the wildlife on MacClellan Island.
Chattanooga Zoo features chimpanzees, the Himalayan Passage features red pandas, the highly endangered “Bali-Mynahs”, and Asian Elongated tortoises, and the Zoo's newest exhibit, the Cougar Express, features Mountain Lions. Visit the Snow Leopards and Langurs exhibit in the Himalayan Passage.

Coolidge Park is Chattanooga's most popular park. Situated on the city's north shore, this exciting 7-acre park offers a rare opportunity to relax, play, and socialize year-round. Named in honor of Charles Coolidge, a World War II Medal of Honor recipient, Coolidge Park features a beautifully restored hand-carved carousel, a pavilion, an interactive play fountain, an open-air performance venue, and lots of open space. Restaurants, shops, and several popular attractions such as the Walnut Street Bridge and the Walnut Wall Climbing Facility surround the park.
Open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., 7 days a week.
The carousel at Coolidge Park remains open to the public Mondays - Saturdays, Noon - 7:30 p.m. and on Sundays, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Admission: .50 cents for children 12 and under and for Seniors ages 55 and over $1.00 for adults
Bluff View Art District is a historic neighborhood in Chattanooga filled with restaurants, a coffee house, art gallery, historic Bed & Breakfast, and plenty of gardens, plazas and courtyards, sculpture garden, and Hunter Museum of American Art. Restaurants include: Rembrandts Coffee House, Back Inn Cafe, Renaissance Commons, Tonys Pasta Shop and Trattoria.

A hands-on museum that makes learning about science, music, and history fun for children of all ages! Children can pilot a riverboat, create dams and channels for floating boats, dig for dinosaurs or even explore child-size versions of a cozy home and sports car.
Rock City Gardens is only 6 miles outside of downtown Chattanooga and is on the top of Lookout Mountain. You can see ancient rock formations and amazing views where you can see seven states. Rock City Gardens also has a suspension bridge, waterfall and more than 400 different plants native to the area.
Ruby Falls, a thundering 145-foot waterfall is located underground deep within Lookout Mountain and has been thrilling visitors for over 70 years. Entertaining hosts take you into the cavern by elevator and lead you along a paved, level pathway. See unique formations and the sheer beauty of the sparkling waterfall on this fun-filled and educational visit.
Lookout Mountain Incline Railway
The trolley-style railcars carry passengers up high and the breathtaking 72.7% grade of the track near the top gives the Incline Railway the unique distinction of being the steepest passenger railway in the world.
Ride the train aboard the Tennessee Valley Railroad's restored vintage trains.
Missionary Ridge Local trains run daily mid-March through October and weekends only in November. Additional services offered throughout the year include Chickamauga Turn trains to Chickamauga, Georgia on summer weekends, Dixie Land Special excursions into northwest Georgia, and North Pole Limited trains during the holidays.
