At Cold Creek Horseback Riding, they offer you the best horseback riding experience available. Ride their safe, obedient horses on beautiful forest trails, through sparkling mountain streams, and down nostalgic country lanes. Enjoy a scenic stroll through the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and enjoy rural North Georgia the way it was meant to be enjoyed- from the back of a horse.
Blanch Manor is located in Copperhill, Tennessee, less than 15 minutes north of Blue Ridge, Georgia and just over one and a half hours north of Atlanta, Georgia. They are only an 1/8 of a mile north of the Georgia border, so don't be deterred by the Tennessee location since they are just around the corner and very easy to find! Blanch Manor stables in addition to horseback riding offers 30 minute wagon ride hayrides through a working apple orchard is followed by a fireside dinner where local musicians bring a taste of the Blue Ridge Mountains and our local culture to your family. The dinner at the campfire consists of homemade chili, cornbread, soda, water, and homemade dessert, as well as hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting. After dinner, you can end the evening with a game of horseshoes nest to the fire. The entire evening usually lasts about 1 1/2 hours and is held an hour before nightfall year round.
This activity is great for family with members who cannot ride horses, or large groups who want to enjoy a campfire dinner with entertainment. They need a minimum of 8 people to have a hay ride, but can always try to combine smaller families together to reach the required minimum number. Please be sure to ask for directions to the hay ride when booking, as the hay ride is located at Mountain View Apple Orchard, not Blanche Manor.
